Dr. Torres-Ortiz was born and raised in Venezuela where she earned her medical degree from Universidad de Los Andes in 2013. She then completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Michigan State University/Spectrum Health in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Dr. Torres-Ortiz offers comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology care that follows evidence-based medicine for women during all phases of their life. Her clinical interests include managing high-risk pregnancies, chronic pelvic pain, and minimally invasive surgery, including robotic surgery.
Dr. Torres-Ortiz provides a patient-centered holistic approach to health & wellness and strives to create strong collaborative patient-physician relationships allowing her patients to make informed decisions about their health.
Outside of her medical practice, Dr. Torres-Ortiz enjoys traveling, playing tennis, and spending time with friends and family.
